I never planned to be a photographer, I don't even know who or what inspired me to do it. I originally wanted to be a filmmaker however my mother told me that it would be hard to find a job so I opted out of Columbia and ended up in a program Robert Morris had many years ago that only had a diploma program mixed in with business management. Photography has allowed me to meet some great people, and tap into my inner creativity.
Photography has assisted me in not being such an introvert. It pushes me to come out of my own world and interact with people. It has heightened my senses of detail, I tend to catch little things that no one is paying attention to. Photography was one of my first businesses and served as a springboard for everything else that I tried my hand at.
